Music’s blarin’, screen doors slam
Car tires squeal and shoes on the stair
Dog’s barkin’ like he’s real scared

Footsteps on gravel, trunk lid slam
Glug, glug, of something splashin’ from a can
Flickin’ of a lighter, smoke alarm’s beepin’
I guess I’ll get back to sleepin’
